Inspiring Mind Bending Change

Our mind is capable of remarkable change. Our brain is able to restructure and find different pathways to adapt to new environments. Our mental health system is also capable of change. We just need to find different pathways to get there. If we bend our minds to discover new paths, then mind bending change will occur. Mind Bend Mental Health strives to facilitate that change.

Monique S. Black

With nearly a decade of clinical and commercial experience in the behavioral health field, Monique is focused on the development of new solutions to improve the standard of care for depression and anxiety disorders. Specializing in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and ketamine, she has collaborated with over 200 psychiatrists, and is recognized as an expert in TMS practice development. Her previous company, Mental Health Strategies & Solutions (MHSS), successfully developed 50+ TMS practices throughout the US and Canada. Monique has been recognized as a Changemaker In Mental Health Advocacy and a featured speaker at the Clinical TMS Society.

Prior to working in the mental health industry, Monique worked in the sales divisions of medical device and pharma corporations, including GE Healthcare and Sanofi. This wide scope of experience enabled her to recognize the divide between behavioral health and the rest of the health care community. Monique launched Mind Bend Mental Health in 2021 with a simple solution for a complex health care system.

“Having struggled with depression and anxiety since young adulthood, I spent years getting incorrectly diagnosed and improperly treated. At one point, I lost hope altogether. It is my mission to bring awareness to the millions out there who have no idea that happiness is still attainable.”
